Kiwi Journeys

Kiwi Journeys’ local expertise delivers detailed and enriching cycling experiences on the Great Rides of the South Island.

Our Premium eBike fleet and equipment guarantees the smoothest time on the trails around Queenstown where the tours explore the many and varied rides within the Queenstown Trails Great Ride network as well as the Kawarau Gorge Trail – the latest Great Ride that connects Queenstown with the vast Central Otago family of Great Rides.

Tour options give riders the flexibility to discover the Queenstown Trails at their own pace – following rivers and valleys from town to town, crossing suspension bridges, navigating tunnels and perhaps sampling the food and wine of the region, for the Gibbston River Trail leads to many glorious tasting opportunities for those in pursuit of a pinot!

Multi-day rides will join the trails of Queenstown with those in Central Otago using the new Kawarau Gorge Trail, uniting these Great Rides in all-inclusive 1, 2, 3 and 4 (and more!) night packages, with specially curated and customisable journeys that include accommodation, enriching off-trail activities, luggage relocation, premium eBike rental, bike insurance, shuttles where they are needed…and genuine local top tips!

Kiwi Journeys’ Gibbston depot located at Mt Rosa Wines, the Queenstown CBD storefront on Shotover St, and the Central Otago depot in Cromwell combine to deliver seamless cycling experiences with convenient parking, shuttle services, and flexible ride options.

An adventure with Kiwi Journeys is more than just a cycling tour – it delivers an immersive experience fusing adventure with local culture and the awe-inspiring beauty of New Zealand’s South Island.
