Arthurs Point sits at the foot of Coronet Peak Ski Field and Mountain Bike Park. The Kimi-ākau Shotover River winds below the alpine village, carving out dramatic gorges popular for jet-boating, kayaking, walking and biking. Arthurs Point has a range of accommodation options, as well as a great selection of restaurants, eateries and breweries.

The Wharehuanui Trail and Shotover Gorge Trail start and end in Arthurs Point, and the Arthurs Point Trail offers a walking and cycling route to Queenstown. Coronet Peak Mountain Bike trails and the Coronet Loop can be reached via the Wharehuanui Trail. The Hugo Tunnel is a short walk or bike from Arthurs Point on the Shotover Gorge Trail. In addition to the Queenstown Trail, more challenging backcountry and alpine trails can be embarked upon from Arthurs Point.
