Canyon Brewery

Canyon is your go-to Queenstown craft brewery and taproom with a view that (almost) steals the show. Sitting right next to the Shotover River, Canyon brew small-batch beers for big adventure days. Whether you’ve been biking the trails, hiking the hills, or just chasing good times, Canyon is your post-ride reward.

The Canyon Brewing ethos is simple: Keep it fun, keep it local, and keep it sustainable. Canyon Brewing grow their own grain in Queenstown, work closely with local farmers, and pour beers with real personality. From the Vacation Hazy Pale Ale to the crisp Canyon Gold Lager, every beer is brewed with purpose.

The Canyon Taproom follows the same approach: Seasonal, share-style food that’s a little cheeky, a lot tasty, and perfect after a day out. Add a lush beer garden, mountain views, and a laid-back atmosphere, and you’ve got the ultimate post-trail hangout.

Ride in and refuel. Canyon Brewing and Taproom can be found near the Shotover River on the Arthurs Point Trail, a 30 minute ride from Queenstown, an hour from Arrowtown on the Wharehuanui Trail, or an hour from Frankton via the Shotover Gorge Trail.
